1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which psychological services are provided by C3 Psychology Services Ltd. By arranging an appointment, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Professional Status
Services are provided by a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist working in accordance with professional and ethical standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
3. Appointments
- Initial consultation calls are offered free of charge (15–20 minutes).
- Assessment and therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes.
- Appointments are confirmed once payment has been received.
- Sessions may be delivered online via secure video platform.
4. Fees
- Assessment and therapy sessions: £150 per 50-minute session.
- Professional liaison: £150 per 50 minutes (pro rata).
- Psychological reports: £150 per hour.
- Supervision (individual): £150 per session.
- Supervision (group): £120 per session.
Fees reflect specialist training, clinical expertise, and professional responsibility involved in trauma-focused psychological work.
5. Payment
- Fees are payable in advance of each appointment.
- Payment is made via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
- Sessions are confirmed once payment has been received.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.
- Missed appointments are charged in full.
- Cancellations must be made via email.
This policy supports continuity and effective therapeutic work.
7. Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential in accordance with professional standards. Confidentiality may only be broken where there is a legal or ethical duty to act, including risk of serious harm to yourself or others, safeguarding concerns, or legal requirements.
8. Clinical Responsibility
Trauma-focused therapy can involve discussing difficult experiences. Therapy is conducted collaboratively and paced carefully, but participation involves engagement with emotionally challenging material.
The psychologist reserves the right to end therapy if it is deemed clinically inappropriate to continue, or where professional boundaries are not upheld.
9. Online Sessions
Online sessions are conducted via secure platforms. While reasonable steps are taken to maintain confidentiality and security, clients are responsible for ensuring they access sessions in a private and secure environment.
10. Insurance
If using private health insurance, you are responsible for confirming coverage and reimbursement arrangements with your insurer. Fees are typically paid directly and reclaimed from the insurer.
11. Complaints
If you have concerns about the service provided, you are encouraged to raise these directly in the first instance. If concerns cannot be resolved, you may contact the HCPC or relevant professional body.
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. The most recent version will always be available on this website.
